A Christian Worldview of History
To begin, one must recognize what a Christian worldview even is. As one could easily surmise, a Christian worldview is simply viewing life through a 'Christian lens'. A Christian is merely a servant of Christ/God; therefore, individual wants/needs take (or at least should if one is to truly live a life in accordance to the gospel) a backseat to best serving Christ/God. Truthfully, aside from the most fervent monks, nobody does the aforementioned... which in all honesty, is actually a good thing. Why would I waste my life being a 24/7 servant in which I deprive myself of joy? Like with anything, it is best to find a good balance. One can be a devout Christian and servant of God and still live a life of 'decadence'. Additionally, one's Christian worldview should not be called into question unless one were to outright engage in a lifestyle completely incongruous with the gospel.
